PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 29, 2026
Last Updated: September 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy is the primary privacy notice for Gar Paul (“Gar Paul,” “Gar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit this website, subscribe to Seasonal Releases, submit a form, or otherwise communicate with us.

This Policy applies to any Gar Paul webpage, form, or communication that links to it. Shorter privacy or consent notices presented when information is collected supplement this Policy.

Merely visiting this website or viewing this Policy does not subscribe you to marketing. You will receive marketing emails or text messages only after taking the applicable affirmative action through a signup form.

“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked with an individual. It does not include information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to a person.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact information: Your name, email address, mobile telephone number, and communication preferences.

  • Subscription and consent information: When and how you subscribed, the signup page or form used, the consent language presented to you, the communication channels you selected, and records of confirmations, withdrawals, and opt-out requests.

  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact us, reply to a message, request assistance, or otherwise communicate with us.

  • Website, device, and behavioral information: We and Klaviyo may collect your IP address; approximate location and time zone derived from your IP address; browser, device, and operating-system information; referring and landing pages; page URLs and campaign parameters; dates and times of visits; pages or content viewed; form views and submissions; and, if enabled, product views, cart activity, checkout activity, and other website interactions.

  • Cookie and browser identifiers: We may collect identifiers generated through cookies, browser storage, scripts, and similar technologies.

  • Marketing-engagement information: We may collect email delivery and bounce information, email opens, email and text-message link clicks, attributed website actions or conversions, text-message delivery status and replies, unsubscribe requests, and similar engagement information.

  • Profile and preference information: We may connect website and message activity to a subscriber profile and use that activity to understand content interests, create audience segments, and determine communication preferences.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through your browser or device, and through Klaviyo and other service providers that help us operate our website and communications.

The Seasonal Releases signup is not intended to collect Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, health information, precise geolocation, or other sensitive personal information. Please do not submit such information through the signup form.

How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Deliver Seasonal Releases and related marketing about Gar’s creative projects, secret or exclusive content, free downloads, seasonal shop releases, and other updates.

  • Send communications through the email and text-message channels you select.

  • Recognize returning visitors and associate website activity with subscriber profiles.

  • Personalize website forms, content, and communications.

  • Create audience segments based on interests and engagement.

  • Trigger automated messages based on website or message interactions.

  • Measure engagement, attribution, conversions, and campaign performance.

  • Confirm and manage subscriptions, consent records, communication preferences, and opt-out requests.

  • Respond to questions, requests, and other communications.

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website and communications.

  • Prevent misuse, investigate suspected fraud, and protect our rights, systems, and users.

  • Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable agreements.

  • Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or undertaken with your direction or consent.

We will not use previously collected personal information for a materially different and incompatible purpose without providing notice and obtaining consent when required by law.

Email Marketing and Tracking

When you subscribe to Seasonal Releases by email, we may use your email address to send Seasonal Releases and related promotional messages from Gar Paul.

Our emails may contain an invisible tracking pixel that records when an email is opened. The resulting information may include the date and time of the open, IP address, and device or browser information.

Links in our emails may route through Klaviyo before directing you to the destination page. This allows us to record link clicks and associate those clicks and resulting website activity with a subscriber profile.

We use this information to measure performance, understand subscriber interests, create audience segments, personalize communications, and improve future releases.

You may unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in any promotional email or contacting us at [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS]. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that we can continue honoring your request.

Text-Message Marketing and Tracking

We send promotional text messages only when you have separately agreed to receive them. If you opt in, we may use your mobile telephone number to send recurring automated promotional messages about Seasonal Releases.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Klaviyo does not measure text-message opens, but it may record message delivery or failure, replies, subscription and opt-out events, clicks on shortened links, and website actions attributed to a message.

You may opt out by replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE, or by contacting us. Reply HELP for assistance. We may send one non-promotional message confirming your opt-out.

Email and text-message subscriptions are separate. Unsubscribing from one channel may not unsubscribe you from the other unless you ask us to stop both. We do not use your telephone number for marketing calls unless you separately agree to receive such calls.

Klaviyo, Cookies, and Website Tracking

We use Klaviyo, Inc. as our subscriber-management, email, text-message, form, automation, personalization, and marketing-analytics provider.

Klaviyo may use website scripts, first-party cookies, local browser storage, tracking pixels, and tagged or redirected links to:

  • Operate signup forms.

  • Recognize browsers and returning visitors.

  • Record website activity.

  • Associate activity with subscriber profiles.

  • Personalize forms and communications.

  • Create audience segments.

  • Trigger automated messages.

  • Measure engagement, attribution, and marketing performance.

Klaviyo may place a first-party cookie currently named __kla_id on your browser. This cookie assigns a browser identifier and, after you are identified, may contain an encrypted identifier connected with information such as your email address or telephone number. It may remain active for up to two years, although its actual duration depends on our configuration and your browser or device settings.

Although this is a first-party cookie, it supports analytics and marketing and is not strictly necessary for the website to function.

You may become identifiable to Klaviyo when you:

  • Submit a Klaviyo signup form.

  • Click a tracked link in one of our emails or text messages.

  • Provide identifying information through the website.

  • Log in, begin checkout, or complete another identifying action if those features are available.

After you are identified, earlier and later website activity may be connected with your Klaviyo subscriber profile.

Depending on the Klaviyo features enabled on our website, limited browser activity may be temporarily stored before you are identified. This information may be stored in your browser for up to 14 days and associated with your profile if you are later identified.

Klaviyo may add an encoded identifier to links in our emails or text messages. When you select one of these links, Klaviyo may recognize your browser and connect the click and subsequent website activity with your subscriber profile.

Marketing subscriptions and tracking choices are separate. Unsubscribing from email or text messages stops future marketing through that channel but does not automatically remove cookies, withdraw website-tracking choices, or delete previously collected information.

You may use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Where a Cookie Settings control is displayed on the website, you may also use that control to manage nonessential tracking. Blocking these technologies may reduce personalization or prevent certain form and tracking features from working.

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no uniform standard for interpreting these signals, our website does not currently respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control do not ordinarily change our practices. Where applicable law requires a different response, we will process the signal as required.

Klaviyo’s marketing-preference pages manage email and text-message subscriptions. They do not manage website-cookie choices.

We Never Sell Personal Information

Gar Paul has never sold personal information. We do not sell it now, and we will not sell it in the future.

We do not sell, rent, license, trade, or exchange personal information for money or other valuable consideration. This commitment specifically includes:

  • Email addresses

  • Mobile telephone numbers

  • Website activity associated with subscriber profiles

  • Email and SMS subscription information

  • Mobile opt-in information

  • Consent records

  • Communication preferences

We do not provide this information to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not use personal information collected through Seasonal Releases or Klaviyo for cross-context behavioral advertising based on activity across unrelated websites.

We use Klaviyo only to provide services for Gar Paul, including first-party marketing, analytics, personalization, automation, and attribution. Disclosing personal information to Klaviyo and its subprocessors for these restricted purposes is not a sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not authorize Klaviyo to use Seasonal Releases subscriber information for its own independent marketing.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information only when reasonably necessary for the following purposes:

  • Klaviyo: We use Klaviyo to provide signup forms, maintain subscriber profiles, deliver email and text messages, manage consent and suppressions, record website and message engagement, segment audiences, automate and personalize communications, and measure attribution and performance. Klaviyo processes personal information for us as a service provider or processor and may use subprocessors subject to contractual restrictions.

  • Other service providers and contractors: Providers that support website hosting, security, technical support, and data storage.

  • Professional advisers: Lawyers, accountants, insurers, and other advisers when access is reasonably necessary to perform services for us.

  • Legal and safety purposes: Government authorities or other parties when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent unlawful activity.

  • At your direction: Other parties when you request or expressly consent to the disclosure.

Service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their work. They are not authorized to use subscriber information for their own independent marketing.

Mobile information, mobile opt-in data, and consent records will not be disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers and telecommunications carriers may process that information only as necessary to operate and deliver the text-message program.

We will not sell the Seasonal Releases subscriber list as a standalone asset.

Data Retention

We retain subscriber profiles and associated website and message-engagement information while a subscription remains active.

If a person unsubscribes or becomes inactive, we may retain profile and engagement information for up to 24 months following the last interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to comply with law, document consent, maintain security, resolve a dispute, or enforce an agreement.

We retain minimal consent and suppression records for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Document the consent originally provided.

  • Honor email and text-message opt-outs.

  • Prevent a person from being unintentionally resubscribed.

  • Demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements.

Unsubscribing or being suppressed in Klaviyo does not automatically delete the associated profile or historical activity. You may request deletion as described below.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information.

  • Provide access to or a copy of certain personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Delete certain personal information.

  • Provide certain information in a portable format.

  • Limit or object to certain uses.

  • Honor a withdrawal of consent.

  • Explain the categories and sources of information we collect.

  • Explain the purposes for which information is used and the categories of parties receiving it.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is no sale or targeted-advertising activity to opt out of.

To submit a privacy request, contact [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, although we may request proof of authorization.

If applicable law gives you the right to appeal our response, you may do so by replying to our decision or contacting the same address. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

State-Specific Privacy Disclosures

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following general categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information, such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, IP addresses, cookie identifiers, and device identifiers.

  • Internet or electronic activity, such as browsing history, page and content views, website interactions, browser information, email opens, link clicks, and message-engagement information.

  • Communications, subscription preferences, inferred interests, audience segments, and consent records.

These categories are collected from the sources and used for the purposes described in this Policy. They may be disclosed to Klaviyo and other service providers for the restricted operational purposes described above.

During the preceding 12 months:

  • We have not sold personal information.

  • We have not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • We have not disclosed subscriber information for third parties’ independent marketing.

  • We have no actual knowledge that we have sold or shared the personal information of anyone under 16.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include limiting access to information, using reputable service providers, maintaining account-security controls, and securely disposing of information when it is no longer needed.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and Seasonal Releases are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact lagarbii.online@gmail.com so that we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website and communications may link to websites or services that we do not operate. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Gar Paul is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of those third parties.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, service providers, or legal obligations. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date above.

For material changes, we may also provide notice through our website or by email when appropriate. We will not apply a materially more permissive policy retroactively to previously collected information without providing notice and obtaining consent when required by law.
