BIOGRAPHY

Raised during the era of social technology, Gar is a photographer, entrepreneur, and creative talent from Boston, MA. He holds both an undergraduate and graduate degree from Boston University and has dedicated himself to improving his creative skills, maintaining his health, and working on the future of his business (StudiiQuu LLC).

Photography

Gar began taking consistent photos in 2021 after a 'Friendsgiving' trip to the New Hampshire woods. During this trip, he had brought along his old Canon T7i DSLR camera to vlog the adventure, but he quickly realized that holding this heavy camera on a selfie stick was a hefty task. As a result, he decided to vlog with his phone and simply use his camera to take photos.

Because of this unintended change of plans, Gar began to take consistent photos for the first time. It was during this trip with his friends that he captured his first defining photo, “Mirror Lake.” Surprised by its quality, Gar began to learn how to properly edit photos so that he could bring out the true potential of his camera. This led him to take even more photos, which ended up launching him into a brand-new hobby turned skill.

Today, Gar shoots his work with a professional camera and has a quality portfolio with paid work to match.

Content Creation

YouTube, the platform that revolutionized the online personality. YouTube’s introduction to modern media aligned with Gar’s formative years during middle and high school. As a creative mind himself, he watched countless hours of people just like him telling stories, playing games, having fun, and sharing their minds with the world. He dreamed of joining them, and when he eventually saved up enough money for a third-generation iPod Touch, he finally had access to the one thing keeping him away from the content that he loved: a video camera.

From that point onward, Gar explored countless ways to create videos that he loved. He recorded the games he played with his iPod, unboxed inexpensive products, and collected trading cards. As time went by, he learned how to edit and narrate videos and manipulate images on his old netbook laptop. This hobby brought him joy that was indescribable. However, as time went on, his passions burned out. The games he played became old, and the fire to create that same content faded.

It was not until college that Gar rediscovered his love of video content. After a disappointing first semester, he enrolled in his university’s College of Communication. After one semester, he rediscovered his love of storytelling, and with it, his vision for content creation planted a seed once again, deep within his heart and mind. As time went by, and project after project passed, he was given numerous opportunities to work on this craft. He tried repeatedly to restart his content journey but always found a reason to be his own biggest critic.

It was not until Gar dove into photography that he began to feel more confident in his other content. Maybe it was the quality of his new camera, or maybe it was his growth in creative skill set. Whatever it was, Gar’s attempts to reignite his creator side became more frequent. Finally, in 2025, he began to consistently leave his content up for the world to see, even if zero people watched.

To this day, Gar continues to work on this passion, exploring in the open rather than in the shadows.

Building Business

From an early age, the fundamental skill of building helped Gar cure his boredom. Gar’s mother, a single parent, could not afford the toys that other kids had, and so Gar would build his own out of cardboard, tape, and miscellaneous office supplies. Every day, his imagination ran wild as he gradually unlocked his creative potential.

Gar’s builder mind eventually drew him toward gaming, where he built maps, designed player interactions, and created graphic elements for numerous games he played. It became clear that he enjoyed designing the gameplay experience just as much as he loved the gameplay itself.

After some gap time between high school and college, Gar began to build his own life in the same way he had built everything before, with a solid foundation and a clear idea of who he wanted to be.

Two years after graduating from business school with a master’s degree, Gar put his mind to work once again to build a business. While he was new to business, he was not new to creating something with his own hands.

Today, Gar is focused on guiding StudiiQuu toward achieving its core mission: a place where elite creators thrive.
